FOR LEADERSHIP MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Leadership Montgomery County (LMC) applications for the Class of 2007 must be received no later than Thursday, June 15, at 5:00 PM.
Applications may be obtained from any of the participating Montgomery County Chambers of Commerce or accessed and printed off the LMC website at www.lmctx.org. The application, along with the $10 application fee, must be turned into one of the local Chambers of Commerce.
Leadership Montgomery County is a tax-exempt 501 (c) 3 non-profit organi-zation, originally formed by the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce as Leadership Conroe. In 1995 the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce joined with the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber to form the county-wide leadership program. The Magnolia Area Chamber of Commerce and the Community Chamber of East Montgomery County now hold board positions and are a part of LMC implementation.
The mission of LMC strives to develop and promote the present/future leadership for Montgomery County by enhancing current business and community leaders while identifying and developing emerging leaders. Prospective student applications are confidentially reviewed and selected by a committee comprised of members of the LMC Board of Directors.
